Why do you guys stay for your pets? What's your reasoning, besides they make you smile, laugh, and warm? What do you love about those cuties to wish to stay a while?

Well i dont have any pets but if i did i would live for them especially. I love dogs so much they are so cute the answer for your question at least for me would be : innocence.
Animals are innocent creatures. Its so beautiful and inspiring. If you grow your pet loving them they will be lovely.
If you hurt them they will only be hurt. Learning no feelings at all.
They are born innocent like us and not like people they are (at least huge amount of em) keeps their innocence forever.
If you love them they'll only love. If you hate them they will only hate. Not being affected from any people but the one who takes care of them.
Rescued animals from abused households are so hard to convince to trust. It takes time but eventually because they are born loved. They will love you no matter what. They forget / forgive and move on to live
Personally I see my pet dog as my child so a good mother won't leave her child. I like being able to take care of him as I feel like I am providing something of value to someone else. He is lovely boy and I want to make him happy and I love it when he licks me and cuddles with me when I come back home from going somewhere outside.

This is so damn cute!! I love this response so much and wish I could hug it and give it the best wishes and warmth unknown to humankind especially with all you've endured

Because like children, they didn't have a choice in where or whom they lived with, nor do they have a choice in the level of care they receive. Luckily my partner is the cats' favorite person, so I just have to worry about their wellbeing until he gets home from inpatient. They might miss me, but not nearly as much as they'd miss him.
Because she loves me unconditionally and depends on me to care for her now she is getting older, stiffer and isn't the charming wee puppy everyone used to gush over and want to spoil.
They're adorable, the embodiment of unconditional love, and have the ability to make us happy just by seeing them. Not to mention the sense of duty towards them as their pet parents. Mine is gone now though, so I don't have those reasons anymore. I wish we could meet again on the other side.
