Myself:

It reduces my tinnitus, intrusive thoughts, insomnia & EVER SO SLIGHTLY depression.

My comorbid diagnoses is EUPD/BPD & OCD.

However, many days I feel like I'm just as depressed as when I'm not taking the medication, so I'm a bit perplexed.

The downside: Massive weight gain. And I fucking hate it. But, poetically, it just goes to show how cruel this world/life/existence is. Life/existence is CONSTANTLY giving us ultimatums. Why do we have to choose?

Over to you: Why do you take your medication?

The way I treat people off my medication is insane and awful so I of course take it for their sakes. My partner often reminds me to. I still feel insane on it sometimes but less so.

I take anti-depressants that work just enough to stop me from have suicidal thoughts but boosts my fatigue so much I end up falling asleep at noon.

The only reason I take them is so my family won't worry.

It's interesting that the only two responses are related to concerns for others.

I'm on medication for social anxiety and depression. The only reason I take my depression medicine is because without it I'll start feeling physical side effects, like fatigue and dizziness. Also, they help control my SI. But sometimes it doesn't matter if I take them or not, I'll still have these thoughts. I haven't taken my medicine for anxiety in two days, so I don't know what's going to happen with that.
