Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Actually they don't need that many people to run Starbucks and fly airplanes. Many people literally have nothing to do. Of those who do have a jobs, many are doing meaningless things just to keep themselves "in the loop". To not let idle people turn into violence, they have created social media and captcha to keep them occupied all day.
The person who created Facebook was doing it to make money not as a form of social engineering… Same with friendster, myspace, Instagram etc.Although social engineering was a result it was unintentional

If the problemn is temporary tehy you only need a temporary solution because then the problem goes away is the basic idea. So if a student goes to college and get soverwhelmed, which is a common way that leads to suicide, then there are often solutions such as turning to you family for help that will solve the problem in maybe a few months- a temporary period of time- rather than to end your life, which is permanent. If your family talks to you more, supports you in dropping out for a semester or a year or dropping out of that college and goin to another one the next year, this solution goes over a "temporary" period of time, rather than having the solution take everything everything from your whole life permanently.
Setting aside the religion and societal aspects, I think it's just.... plain taboo. It's way up there with murder and desecrating the dead. Our brains are just wired to feel bad with just looking at the dead. What more if they did that to themselves? Suicide feels unnatural and assisted suicide unconventional. At least, that how I feel before I was younger and too religious. I reckon fellow catholics felt that way.
Maybe people also use religion to justify their hate for it. That's what they do to other things anyway.
It doesnt help the suffering though and their body autonomy still denied. But hey atleast they're not "uncomfortable" right?
Tldr: monkey brain hate death ungabunga only food and sex
Some prolifers just have lack of empathy and a superior morality complex. Others are lacking imagination how a life can be not worth living because of suffering.
Anyway they are all selfish because only thing they can do is to call for prohibition of means of peaceful suicide.
Kinda same with anti-abortion crowd, they don't care about the fetus and what will happen to it after it become a child, they care about themselves and their opinions that they love to impose onto others.
