Why do people want to stop us from catching the bus?

Numerous reasons:
1. The government wants control over everything in your life (social security numbers is a way to be tracked);
2. religioius idiots think it's against god's will (who the hell is god?)
3. It shows just how fucked up the world is.

Think about the reasons why you want to leave. This world is one fucked up place (no matter where you live). Eveyone things the US is such a great fucking place to live. Well, it's not - some of the states (the one I live in for example) are run by idiots who are only in it for the money - they don't give a shit what happens Sorry I digress.

Why would someone want to live in this day and age? If we were all allowed a peaceful death how many people would be left?
People are also incredibly afraid of death, to the point where they will do almost anything to love longer, the thought of giving up and accepting death is completely foreign to many people, they don't understand at all probably because they grew up privileged or just blissfully unaware of the pain of people like us..

My main reason would be because there's this bias around death that's like "death is horrible and frightening! Why would you ever want that"

There's also power over people, taking away the power is to just snap out of life when you wanted. Like what neverreallyhere said, that and also the work culture, slaving away at corporate jobs that need people who will be machines, tax payers, and all that in this capitalist system.

Nobody would want to live in this world, it's dying from our pollution day by day. I wonder who would really want to live if we removed the fear of death and to the ignorance of some people.

A lot of people believe there's still hope. That's why they want us to keep going. It's what they've known, unless they live it themselves and are still stuck in that place, they'd understand. But many people don't, besides the people that r suffering or people that r very empathetic. I hate when people through the religion card at me, is that supposed to make me feel better? No. People gotta think before they speak
