If both N and SN produce the same results, why do people choose N when it costs around 500 USD, when you can get SN for 20 USD?

But even if money was no object, why would you choose N over SN if it's much more expensive and gives the same result? Is there something I'm missing? They are probably richer and not living in third world. I wish I could afford N.
The guy above answered better but N has less variables. SN is like you need this or thatBut even if money was no object, why would you choose N over SN if it's much more expensive and gives the same result? Is there something I'm missing?
From what I've seen SN has a better RP than N as well so I can't quite understand..
Why don't you opt for SN?

They were things I want to avoid though. :0 I also don't fully trust the PPH, so I've only read the goodbye threads and the SN spreadsheet. With the side effects I haven't yet come across anyone who has seen or experienced anything worth avoiding SN, maybe they haven't lived to tell the tale but from what I've read from PPH it seems as though there have been so issues with sides.
May I ask what pharmacy in the uk that you got the meto. Message me if you can.@AntiquatedHorror
Thought I'd respond to both at the same time.
I completely understand where you're coming from, I've only started researching recently myself.
But from what I've seen you don't actually "need" anything more than SN, the only possible complication is vomiting, in which case all you need is Metoclopramide which I found on a UK online pharmacy in minutes.
All the other stuff isn't a necessity and in my opinion just makes the whole process seem more daunting than it actually is.

Unless I'm advised otherwise I think it's best to keep it simple.. SN + Metoclopramide = job done.
WelllllllllThe more expensive something is the better it is. A universal truth.
Where can I procure SN most quickly and easily? I bought sodium nitrate by mistake. How do I take it?@AntiquatedHorror

Have you tasted vet N? I did a sleep test with 1ml and having my last moments spent with that aftertaste in my mouth (if I can even get 200ml down) doesn't seem very peaceful to me. Although everything is relative I guess.N is the gold standard when it comes to a peaceful & dignified exit. Nothing even comes close (except for other strong barbiturates). N first puts one to sleep, and then to a permanent sleep. It's the best way of CTB, no doubt about it.
Yes, it's extremely bitter to taste and can cause one to vomit it because of the bitterness, but an anti-emetic should take care of that. I don't mind having to gulp down an extremely bitter solution if I'm going to have a truly peaceful & dignified exit.
Look at it this way. N can even be more peaceful & dignified than a natural death. Not all natural deaths are peaceful. Not everyone who dies a natural death passes away peacefully in their sleep. Plenty of people suffer a lot (e.g. a heart attack) during their final moments before their natural death.
N as a method of CTB is on par with those elderly people who are lucky enough to die a peaceful natural death in their sleep.
SN, on the other hand, is merely relatively peaceful. It's very salty to taste, causes nausea and vomiting even after taking an anti-emetic and causes a very rapid heart beat among other possible effects. All this can cause SI to kick in and/or lead to one being found and supposedly "saved".
SN is much cheaper and easily available compared to N. That's all. On all other aspects, N is definitely superior to SN as a means of CTB.
I have SN, but I really wish I had N instead. Those who have managed to obtain N are very lucky indeed.
No, I cannot obtain N here. If I could, I would have got it by now.Have you tasted vet N? I did a sleep test with 1ml and having my last moments spent with that aftertaste in my mouth (if I can even get 200ml down) doesn't seem very peaceful to me. Although everything is relative I guess.
I'll just say this... Bitter is not the right word. No, I cannot obtain N here. If I could, I would have got it by now.
Yes, everything is relative. I guess you can also drink something after gulping down N to minimise the bitterness.
What would you compare it to? If you can think of anything close to it that is.I'll just say this... Bitter is not the right word.
Nothing comes close really. I suppose the strongest alcohol you could imagine but not even that does it any justice. What would you compare it to? If you can think of anything close to it that is.
I have some Neotame and tried mixing a bit in with 1ml but it didn't make much of a difference. I'm not sure of the ratio to use. Neotame is super strong but don't know how helpful it will be in the case of N. I have heard of coating your mouth with honey but haven't tried that.Did you try to coat your mouth with honey or rinse with Neotame and water??
There's a thread about improving the taste around here somewhere I think.
Hm that sucks, I've never drank any alcohol so that doesn't tell me much. Guess I'm going out to find and buy myself some spirytus vodka, apparently that's like 95% alcohol.Nothing comes close really. I suppose the strongest alcohol you could imagine but not even that does it any justice.

If you have tried N how did you survive?
