Venting Why didn't the Xanax kill me

Like 2 years ago I swallowed an entireeee bottle of Xanax and I just fell asleep and Mom found me and called the paramedics. They just woke me up and I went back to bed I am not kidding. Mom the next day yelled at me for stealing her Xanax (that isn't prescribed her btw she got it from a friend!!!!!) and told me to clean my room cuz it was a mess whenever the paramedics ran into my room. I've OD'd other times too why didn't it work!!! I know now that oding rarely ever works but man!!!! I've burnt myself more then usual today my arm feels AWFUL. I can't feel emotions anymore I just feel so fuzzy and overwhelmed I can't do this anymore !!!

I'm wondering what's really on your mind with this post. Seems like you know already that ODs rarely work, so you aren't really wondering about that. This OD was two years ago, so that makes me think something else is on your mind now.

Its impossible to OD just on benzos. Benzos replaced barbiturates because people were accidentally ODing or killing themselves with them. Taking medications to kill yourself usually never works. Thats mostly just bullshit from movies. You need something very strong that is usually a controlled substance and hard to obtain. Plus, usually you need A LOT of whatever it is and most of the time you are never going to get that amount.

I've been on benzos for years for my anxiety. Never tried to CTB on them. Not a good idea from what I have read.

I didn't know it wasnt gonna work when I attempted. I guess I've just been thinking about it since it happened. I was just manic and sad it didn't work when I posted this I guess.

No support system outside of weed and a friend I'm pushing away w my constant doomsaying lol
