Me. East Yorkshire. Lived up and down Britain though, from Fraserburgh at the top to Southsea at the bottom. They all smell of Fish, the only shared feature. Being a Cod head, it fits.

First I've heard of that tbh. Only info I can find of it is other forum posts from the early 00s asking the same question.

It'll have been late 90s when it came to my attention, when I was out clubbing every weekend and we always sought out new places to go that were a reasonable train ride away - went to Funky monkey in Nottingham one weekend but I don't remember there being an unusual amount of women, but then none of us would notice being so loved up. Fabric in Sheffield, that seemed to be pretty much 80% women, I do remember that, vaguely.
It can't be true though surely, it'd be crazy if so. 3 women to 1 man, it'd be like that scene from Holy Grail.
