• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Because he is a villain, and let's be real. If he was Black then he'd never made to the steps of the White House.
America seems so bent on holding onto being racist despite minorities slowly being the majority....the majority that don't vote unfortunately
@Omnia131 Latino women and men both voted for trump which i was not expecting. 54% of Latino men voted for Trump and 52% of Latino women voted for Trump. I do not understand because white trump supporters hate Latinos.

A couple of years ago I found a comment online which said that Latinos are not friendly towards black people in America and black people in America have experienced racism from the Latino community.

I am absolutely not surprised. Every Mexican I have met supports Trump. I can't speak for other Latino groups, as I've only really been around Mexicans in my rural hometown. It bewilders me though due to some of the hateful things Trump has said

It seems like most Latinas voted for Harris, while most Latinos voted for Trump.

You are correct. But too bad her and Slo Mo Joe sat on their asses and did essentially nothing for the last 4 years, expecting to beat the convicted felon this time around.
@MatrixPrisoner In the month of July I was in Malta when Biden announced he was the quitting the race. I found it very strange how the Obamas endorsed Harris very late and had suspicions.

I told my grandmother and mother that for the Obamas to endorse late it shows they don't have full confidence in her at the time i felt like the Obamas were forced to endorse her and never wanted her.

Now I realise the Obamas saw early on Harris as someone not capable of beating Trump. Obama wanted an open primary and the Obamas had a preferred candidate who was an astronaut turned senator.

In politics senior politicians can see the signs of potential in someone to win an election. I now believe the Obamas saw something in harris that meant she lacked the capability to beat Trump and felt maybe another candace could.

This thread has lots of activity, that speaks for itself.

I agree, I wouldn't CTB over just this. But it doesn't make it any easier if you're trying to not CTB. ugh.

No, but I will neglect my communal duties. Stop contributing to a world even more hostile. May even find new creative ways to drain resources locally. Its gonne be bittersweet. I spend the rest of my life dedicated to vengeance.

@ThatStateOfMind This reveals other minorities can be very prejudiced towards other minorities and racism and xenophobia is not just exclusively in white people.

Anyone is capable of hate.

1) One of my black relatives living in America emigrated to USA like in the 80s and eventually got her greencard. She got into an argument with an illegal immigrant man over money and she threatened to have the man deported and was even bragging to other relatives how she can easily get the man deported. All have to do is phone the number to the immigration authorities and that person is gone.

2) My mum knew a mixed race woman in the UK. This woman had someone looking after kids and she wasn't nice to the child minder looking after kids. She got in to an argument with woman and out of spite the reported the woman to the UK immigration authorities. The childminder got deported.

My mum was so disgusted at what the woman had done. My grandmother always told me you should never ever report someone immigration because people leave their countries for a reason and by having them deported you don't know what you are sending them back too. My mum thinks it's pure evil to phone immigration on someone.

@EvisceratedJester A lot of men vote for Trump because they see him as a man they want to be.

Trump is rich, powerful, has a had a history of dating beautiful women and spent his life being in the limelight feared by others. A lot of men do find these traits desirable

Trump talks about issues effecting men and unfortunately a lot of men see him as " their voice"

This male supremacy at its worst.

The thing is, we can't really just blame men for this as women (particularly white women) also played a role in getting him elected. Along with that, black men overwhelmingly voted for Harris. As much as I sometimes find myself falling into the same mindset as you, especially after the election results just came out, this is too much of a simplified view on this. A lot of people are performative when it comes to their activism, pretending to be progressive to look good.

I think this video highlights it pretty well (and forced me to rethink some things)

Yeah it genuinely doesn't surprise me. I also know a Puerto Rican who is legally an American and similarly, he also says he'll call ICE on illegal immigrants at his work. I've never understood it because I genuinely believe America should be for everyone.

Before you can assume that, read this.

Also take a look at some republicans, which have previously pretended to be fucking totally naive about this, admitting Shit Show 2025 is part of the agenda.

Ignorance is bliss. Unfortunately I'm not going to just allow people to sit back idly right now.

We have a lot to lose. Thanks to our shitty Supreme Court, Trump, with the Heritage Foundation, and now a house/senate/cabinet full of corporate cocksuckers, they can go full pedal to the medal.

If you don't care about your rights right now, can't even be bothered to be diligent about it, then when something happens that's really bad for you personally who should give a fuck?

I'd love to think that everything will get better but unfortunately, have lost all hope. The main reason I haven't already ended it is holding onto hope that I'd die naturally somehow. My husband's alcoholism and beratement over me voting for Harris is too much. There were already enough reasons he had to scream at and insult me about. The reinforcement that sexism, racism, religious indoctrination, toxic masculinity and narcissism are all ok because this country voted for it is unbearable. I need to figure out how to get fentanyl, heroin, ketamine, anything I can OD on my top priority before the inauguration. If I can't I feel ready to either buy a gun (super easy in F@cking Florida) or jump off a building.

100% truth!

The fact that the country voted for it is horrifying, in and of itself.

The fact that in doing so, those same horrific beliefs have been reinforced is a whole new level of abhorrently terrifying!

I hope you're able to find peace soon, but until then, know that you aren't alone!

So many people all over the place trying to coo in our ear about how everything will be okay, but they don't even want to acknowledge why they feel they have to do that. They don't want to confront that we may have a strong motivation behind our feelings that kind words alone can't smooth over.

i guess you didn't read the link i posted, nor probably would read america first since its shorter.

what we could look forward to with trump, and republican majority house/senate:

reproductive rights will shrivel away, pointless bans on legal pornography, teen and unwanted pregnancies skyrocketing with a lack of contraceptives since they're banned, LGBTQ might as well get ready to be pushed back whatever decades in policy, if you are mentally ill things will probably be even bleaker, ramped up internet surveillance (though 'democrats' love this too), department of education will not exist, deregulation out the ass (and less rights for the workers, ofc. say yay for lead and untested chemicals! say yay for pollution, weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!), no support for all these babies repubs want, supposedly better economy but go thank trump for the those terrifs about to fuck shit up, 83% of those great tax cuts aren't going to you (and dont expect the wealthy to make more jobs just because they gave them a tax cut), ukraine might as well be new land for russia, although harris is pro-isreal i think things for the palestinians cant get any worse since trump is just a yes man for netyahoo, the housing market isn't going to get better, one of trumps possible AG picks bragged about "putting kids in cages" (what is integrity and human decency?), having elon musk in office is definitely not special interest, 4 more years of ignoring climate change (which is going to inevitably cause border wars no one is fucking ready for), propgangazing children with only christianity because thats the only religion that can be in schools (instead of just not shoveling that shit down their throats)
