Franz Kafka, if you count him! The melancholy in his work paired with his desire for life and love and acceptance really touched my heart. I've got something of a soft spot for him, and would like to get his signature tattooed on my collarbone.

Albert Camus has also been the man who articulated the words I've been thinking of since I was a kid, but I don't really like him considering he cheated on his wife lol. And I more or less have a crush on Dostoyevsky's fantastic character Ivan Fyodorovich Karamazov.

"The Unique and Its Property" is peak. A bit cynical, yet it's interesting to read. And "The False Principle of Our Education". I agree with him on that one, because education in my part of the world is really formal and was designed to shape a person.
