Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

To disappear completely and not know what happened to you, or to know that you are dead? I think disappearing would be less painful as it would leave a small hope. But the feeling of uncertainty could be more painful in the long run. So I wasn't sure and wanted to get your opinion.
I feel like just disappearing is just giving your loved ones false hope your still alive and drags out their grieving. At least when they have a body, there is a bit of closure

I actually think that disappearing is worse. They will likely still suspect the worst but there may never be any closure. Plus- police will get involved, there'll likely be wide scale searches and if they suspect foul play- they may even suspect family and friends. My feeling is that it just spreads the pain out over a longer period- perhaps indefinately.

I believe it'd cause less pain if they knew what happened as maybe it'd give them some closure rather than spending the rest of their existence wondering.
Death will give family closure and they will grieve for you and it will be painful but less so than just disappearing and never knowing. it will give them false hope that your still alive.
