Hello,
I am not going to make you a big scroll of my life for various reason, in short I am for ~6 years in depression and stuck in a life (like on this spongebob meme) who is more similar to a prison and with nobody that can understand me not even my tribal family. If you want a analogy of my life, think about someone consistently waterboarded between his will to live and a will to die.
Nothing worked on me not therapist, medication (Zoloft, Xanax, ...) or other.
Due to a precedent suicide attempt with medications, I almost died but was saved (ty to the ones who helped me, even if I wanted to die I thank those people).
I conserve with me (due to my actual treatment) 10 pills of 300 mg of Seroquels and I know that those pills alone can be mortal. However I just want to be sure. What type of alcohol should I buy, possibly something I could hide. I ask you because even if I'm 22yo I don't drink alcohol so I am not really a connoisseur.
Ty

Welcome to SaSu! Sorry life has brought you to this point.

Medication ODs very rarely work even in large amounts and even with alcohol. Your drug is not going to be lethal, otherwise they would not give it to psychotic and/or depressed people.

It does (my psychiatrists told me) but I want to make sure with alcohol.
The oral LD50 if quetiapine in rats is 2000 mg/kg. Some signs and symptoms of a quetiapine overdose include sedation, drowsiness, tachycardia, and hypotension. Clinical trials demonstrate that overdoses of up to 30 grams of quetiapine did not result in death.

Well it's embarrasing for me. Sorry for the bother.
Now I don't have way to escape this hell.

Hello,
So I finish reading again the links. I've read the first one and though that Seroquel was an exception but I was clearly wrong. Sorry if I knew I would not post believe me. As for the other link, I'll watch them later, for now I just need to speak to my therapist to talk about what I've done here.
And now, by you saying "Your drug is not going to be lethal, otherwise they would not give it to psychotic and/or depressed people." I feel more stupid because it's obviously right. It's like giving alcohol to a "in recovery" alcoholic.
Ty and sorryagain. i don't know if I stay here.

Do not feel stupid. There is a lot of misinformation in social media and popular media that makes us think that these things will work. Also people in our situation have a certain desperation that makes us blind to some of the very obvious evidence.

Many, many people on this site have made first threads similar to yours. Do not feel bad at all. ❤️

I've taken a much larger dose of Seroquel than that, combined with large doses of other meds, and survived.
