Like the title says, I'm concerned about not putting my pain on others. I'm looking for ways to avoid that. I can't be home so I'll have to go somewhere. I don't want a random member of the public to find me. That would be unfair. How can have myself found by professionals and not have them intervene?

It depends on the method you choose. Go to an isolated place by night maybe, and write a delayed message for professionals?

Choose a big chain hotel room and make sure to put a sign in the entrance of your room to make sure the housekeeping profissional will call the police before walking to your corpse.

Employees of such big hotels are usually trained for this situation and the impact (if your method is not brutal) should be minor. Police is called, your body is removed and your family is called for body recognition in the end of the process. A friend @Ksmиda helped in my other thread and post a protocol of hotel after a corpse is found: https://hospitalitylawyer.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/Responding-to-guest-deaths.pdf

So ctbing in a chain hotel room Looks like the smoothiest and cleanest way to go. Much better than trying to hide your body (will cause too much trouble for family and autorities) or dying in your house (it will be horrible to your family to have to deal with your corpse).

Good luck

I wonder if the people at reception look for signs of suspicious people prone to ctb? I just get a feeling those guys would have honed their radar for something like this having possibly seen plenty of cases.. And I think I may look like I have a huge sign on my forehead that says CTB..

Also would there be a search of your baggage at the time of admission? Sorry I haven't really stayed much in hotels, think I'll begin some trials in maybe one or two weeks time, but thought I'd get a heads up..

You're overthinking. They don't pay attention to that.

I never heard of such a thing as a search of your baggage at the time of admission. People do coke all the time with escorts in hotels. They don't care as long as you don't smoke inside your room.

depends on where you live and whether you have the means to get around.
