Where are you planning your death?

I've looked into heavily wooded areas in my surrounding area. My plan is to take an Uber to one of these as I'd rather not drive and fear someone calling in my plates reporting an abandon car. Find the right tree and partial hanging.

I'm planning to hike far away from my car. I've listened to enough true crime podcasts of how difficult it was for police to find people who disappeared in the woods to know what throws them off.

Wondered what the reason was for hotel out of town? Perhaps it spares the feeling of family in your town but would it make much difference?

In my home will be best place, where I have all my things. What happens after my death is not my problem, people have to die somewhere and I have not chosen to exist.

I live alone, so I'm thinking about doing it in my living room with the curtains drawn. I could get a hotel room I guess, but I feel more confident about being able to get things set up how I want in my own house. I'm planning on having an automated email sent to my sister after enough time has elapsed telling her to send the police over to do a welfare check and leaving the front door unlocked.

I like the idea of doing it somewhere beautiful in nature but I'm not really in a place where I can plan anything elaborate, and anyway, this is the house I planned on living the rest of my life in. Might as well do it here.
