I tried hanging myself in a hotel room before with my belt. Shit was so hard to do.

At the hotel, I tried my belt and a cord. It just wasn't working. Hopefully, I'll get it right next time.

I wanted to do it in a hotel room as I live with my mother and I don't want her to find me. But I need to find a suitable and affordable hotel and it's hard. If I can't find it I'll have to do it at home.

At home. I live alone, and don't have any friends or family that would bother me before at least a week had passed. Haven't quite decided on a method yet; joining this place has taught me a bunch of other methods I would like to fully research.

So my last and closest attempt was at home, last summer. I went all out and eventually spent all of my savings, I bought the rope, bought the support rack, everything, I planned on doing it in my room, and I had everything prepared. I finally tested it out and was successful which was surprising, this was like my 8th attempt at ctb btw, I hung myself on my door, I did not feel a thing and I went unconsciousness, I regained it and somehow got out of it I don't remember I think my flight or flight reflexes kicked in. I think I thought of my loved ones which brought me out of it.So I decided to hold it off until im out of my house, I'm going to try again very soon but it's tricky because I live with people now and I don't have a lock in my bathroom.

I didn't actually know it was from anything. Just something a couple of flat mates used to say a lot and I kind of picked it up. I am a fan of TV references etc but that one was accidental haha

Ideally I would slip away peacefully surrounded by beautiful nature and my corpse would serve as sustenance for the organisms that live there and compost.

However, I will most likely be doing it in a hospital bathroom. Sounds counterintuitive, I know, but I am very confident that my method will result in instant, irrevocable death that no medical procedure could prevent. I will be using a gun, and I have done the research and will be selecting the proper calibre, using hollow point bullets, and aiming perfectly at my brainstem. The reason I want to do it in a hospital is because I want my organs to be donated to people who need them. There is a very limited timeframe after brain death in which the organs are able to be saved and harvested. This location would result in the least downtime between my death and the harvesting of my organs.

Just found a place. A natural reservation right next to a college campus. Two people have offed themselves there already this year, so. It has no security. Since I'm a girl I must take precautions and find a very isolated spot which won't be hard. I'm quite happy about it now that I have a place to do it. I'm not living in my own home rn, and I live with basically strangers and I don't want to traumatize them (there's two kids here). Also jumping under a train is still a candidate but traumatizing everyone involved is a huge downside, so Imma just go to the reserve some weeks from now. Hopefully I get it done once for all.

I plan to go to a river outside of my town, pick a sturdy tree, and hang myself there. I would like to avoid traumatizing my family with my dead body.

I think they will be pretty traumatised anyway but it's good to reduce the impact.

At home, in my bedroom, with a note clearly visible right inside the entrance to my apartment that no one should enter, that there is a hazardous situation inside, that emergency services, the police, etc. should be phoned; I would want to avoid anyone close to me seeing my dead body, so leave it to professionals.

Hopefully in my bed because it's comfortable and away from strangers who might feel the need to 'save' me. If that plan doesn't work out due to unforeseen circumstances it'll just have to be wherever my dying body lands.

Some woods / nature preserve a few miles out of the city. I want to make sure that there's no risk of anybody else being hurt by the shotgun if I screw something or anything up. I figure my car parked on the road nearby will make finding my body easy enough...
