when’s your date?

I've noticed a lot of people are planing to ctb around now after the holidays, myself included. For me I picked that time so I can enjoy the holidays with my family (more so at least they can enjoy it, and don't have to deal with loss during that time). Time has flown so fast these last couple of years, the world is heading down and I'm not interested to see what the new year has to offer. I've waited 3 years for this, and I'm excited that it's my time now.

what's your date and why'd you choose it?

Hi. I havent chosen yet either but I have a promise to keep in Feb, then looking march/april to leave.
Nice time to go too when nature comes back to life from its slumber.

I hope New Year's Eve or January 1. I do not want to enter another year. I do not have family, none that care about me or spending holidays with me anyway, so the date was chosen because of work reasons and because it would be a nice, clean break.

I won't know until the day comes. There is no way I could plan a date and stick to it. I never know how I'm going to feel from one day to the next.

Edited to add: My 39th birthday is approaching (end of January), and I'd really like to liberate myself before my 40th. So we'll see what happens..

Got what I need, now for the exact time, need to be alone and if one of the holidays or the weekend I'd have to get a hotel. Weekday I can do it at home which is most likely. Just relieved I got the materials and it's up to me now.

I've recently been debating what the point of even setting a date is, after all if it hits May 1st and I don't feel like dying then I wouldn't go through with it obviously. I suppose a ctb date for me is a goal for when I'd like to have my supplies by and when I will allow myself to act on impulse and ctb. More like a start date where I reach the point of "any day now" and allow myself to stop holding back.

Probably as soon as, tomorrow night. IF All goes well & I can get things right. Circumstances and events have changed drastically; & now no longer think i can wait to tie things up nice & neatly. Unless I just wait until everybody dies, it's always going to be or leave a mess.

depends on what you mean. I've set a lot of dates that I failed or just straight up wasn't able to try even. I just keep setting dates, mainly ones I don't want to live past, or when I can attempt soonest. I just sort of see how it goes from there I guess.

I have a date but I'm afraid to share the day or month, just in case. It's a special day for me, though, picked more for sentimental reasons rather than convenience. Albeit the day its on is actually convenient for a personal situation, it isn't the main reason. It is in the not so distant future is all I can say. Not finalised a date, but I'm looking at 30th or 31st Dec this year as a possibility. It depends on whether my SN actually arrives or if not whether I decide to go to option B (jumping).

The last few months have been a massive struggle and now I have a few days off work I think this is a good time.
