I found this out there in Twitter. I'm sorry for the Guy who jumped. I won't blame the firefighter as this is his job and he is trying to "do the right thing". Even if is arguable for us if he did the correct, even if he is pro-election.. if a firefighter refuses to "help" in that situation, he will be in troubles bad position for sure

For curiosity: if you where that firefighter, what would you do?
Save the person who jumped?
Risk your own lifestyle and let him fall?

Death often has side effects, not limited to the person who walks off from living.

Wow so many likes on it too. So many comments saying how everyone who makes an attempt regrets it. They just have no idea.

That honestly sucks. The balls it took to jump and to know it's almost over.

I don't blame the firefighter either. Suicides place people in an awkward moral dilemma and they place us in desperate violent deaths. Just bad vibes all around, legalize assisted suicide for more people already.

I lowkey get angry when I watch videos of suicidal people being "saved". If one can jump off a building, bridge, etc. that means they've suffered so much, they managed to override their SI. And, despite them overcoming such a task, they're still here to suffer. Now, they'll suffer even more at the psychiatric ward.

Though, I'm not angry at the firefighters and police officers; that's kind of their job, so I get it. I'm just angry that people can't peacefully go.

He caught them but must have broken their head against the window below. Can you hear that crash? Catching the legs like that must have swing them head first into the building. Ouch.

I don't agree with forcing people to live, but first responders are legally obligated to do something. Also I think I personally would struggle to just watch someone die. I don't know what I would do (I do know I wouldn't call 911) in that situation. Probably try to talk to them, but hopefully, ultimately respect their choice.

that crashing sound as he catches her is downright haunting... I don't even want to think about the injuries that person sustained. No way they walked away unscathed.
