When do you think you’ll ctb?

For those of you planning on catching the bus, when do you think you'll do it?

It depends on a few factors. The main one being health. If my mobility in my right hand and arm continues to deteriorate, I'll have to act quickly and only get the bare minimum affairs in order. My left side is permanently disabled, so if anything happens to my right hand, I won't be able to do anything anymore.

If it doesn't deteriorate too much, I hope to have more time to get my affairs and finances in order and acquire appropriate treatment, if I get lucky and my application is approved. With the right treatment, I hope to have a few years left and an opportunity to have a few good memories before I die. Without it, I don't think I even have one year left - probably only a couple of months.

It could be any time tbh, my emotions run rampant and everyday I pretty much think of suicide in some way (even when its a rare good day). I would like to do it after both my parents are dead to save them from being shamed(dad) and traumatized(mom).

saw this in the comment section of an assisted suicide vid and it resonated with me.

'When I can no longer go to the bathroom on my own, that's the mark in time where I will seek death with dignity. I think it's the one choice everyone deserves.'

So far the latest thing that I absolutely have to experience before I CTB is Jurassic World Dominion. Assuming I see it on the currently planned release date then that would be June 10, 2022 which I know is exactly a year from today.

However, E3 could potentially announce some big things that will come out after that or even worse, next year's E3 could announce even more things that I'd just have to experience which could get annoying. I also hope season 8 of The Flash is truly the last season and that it ends before the end of 2022.

Basically my absolute latest death date will likely be before Christmas 2022. I know that's a long freaking time to wait and I'm so not looking forward to it but I genuinely don't want to die with any preventable regrets. I already have too many unpreventable ones.

It just depends on how my life goes. If things get worse for me, then I will make the effort to find a way out of this life sooner. Whatever happens, I will never reach old age. It will happen someday, it is inevitable.

Definitely this year ... Before, I used to have hope, now I don't have any more hope ... When you lose that last flicker of hope, it's your time ... I'm at that point now, I've got everything I need to do it ... just need to write my suicide letter so after I pass nobody blames themselves as it's not their fault and there is absolutely nothing they could have done...

October on a specific date if my supplies arrive by then. Preferably by 9am but I know realistically that I cannot time it to the hour with SN.

I'm past my expiration date. I should have gone through and succeeded years ago. So as soon as I stop being a coward and get my affairs in order I'll CTB. But it could be anytime now.

The day after (or maybe on the same day) that my dog dies. I feel badly about this, because I suspect my 17 year-old daughter suspects that. (She's the only one of my three kids who acknowledges that I'm not Satan.) The other day she said that she will be sad when our dog dies, but she really worries about me—she said that she feels like I will just cease to exist when that happens. She's right—she doesn't know why, but she is right.

Whenever I decide I can't take it anymore. It could be five years from now or it could be tomorrow. I'm a pessimist so I think it'll be sooner rather than later but I also didn't think I would live this long so who knows. All I know is the mind can only deal with so much stress before it finally snaps.
