Not one to CTB to but related....
Back in the darkest point of my life I was more alone than I ever thought was possible. Absolute chest crushing despair every time I managed to wake up. It was really the end of a terrible life and I knew no one was going to miss me. All I was waiting for was the opportunity to take my life.
And this song... it so perfectly encapsulates that feeling, I don't have any idea how. But no matter where I am in life, no matter my happiest days, the second I play this song I just break down sobbing.
It hurts so bad but I want to listen to it over and over until I've cried myself to sleep. Maybe that's all I wanted, was to sleep...

i remember one night i was listening to some smiths songs for the first time i started crying when i listened to You've Got Everything Now by The Smiths because i really related to it. the smiths' debut album is really whiny, but that's what i like about it. unrelated, but i was also listening to lesley gore at the same time, and Just Let Me Cry was one of my favorite songs. i think it's a curling up and sulking album.
