Angel by Thierry Mugler, Katie use to always wear it in the winter. was just the most hypnotic smell. i still have her half used bottle in the bathroom. and every year on her birthday, i sprits a little on her fav stuffed animal. i'm hoping this bottle will last for ages and ages.

One of the small things i do to remember her.

my personal perfume is lovely by SJP. makes me smile when i put that on. no idea why but it just does.

I have never done weed in my entire life. actually I've never taken any recreation drugs in my life. i'm a bit of a square ;-)

For me, the new Pure XS Night is pretty good for night wear, but if I'm out and about Perry Ellis Aqua Extreme is pretty nice for work/day wear.
So what do you guys like, cologne/soap/etc? I'm really curious.
I love wearing men's cologne. In female stuff, it's Happy.
Men's stuff, it's Fahrenheit, Perry Ellis 360, or if I'm being cheap, Nautica and Axe Dark Temptation, I can't believe how good that stuff smells.

You rain lovers should get some mitti attar - it smells like rain, with variations: The one I have now smells exactly like rain on a hot pavement, but some are more like rain in a field or other nuanced versions.

I found that Playboy VIP Platinum Edition is a pretty close clone if that's what you're after.

Dior frags are so good, but they cost so fucking much to get em, I was at Belk's and apparently the Dior/Chanel line are the most expensive in the entire store.

I've heard Angel pour Femme is pretty good, and the version for guys smells like a really nice coffee or something similar. I'm actually considering picking up a bottle when funds permit

Is it like a cologne or a dry fragrance?
I love Marc Jacobs perfumes :)
I've heard very good things about Marc Jacobs. My wallet is really going to hate me come tax time, if I'm still alive and kicking come next year.

Mitti attar is a blend of oils. It doesn't last long on me, and it doesn't leave much sillage, but it's amazing how such a specific aroma has been captured so beautifully.

Does it have to be a perfume?
I love the smell of almond extract. It reminds me of my favorite dessert I used to eat with family as a child, these iced, almond teacake cookies that this little bakery was famous for.

It can be anything, really. Perfumes, deoderants, colognes, hell - even a favorite smell, like baking cookies!
The perfum of a person I met once, never got to know what fragrance was that, but it must have been of very high quality, a very very very soft perfume, it made me believe and hope. I have the suspicion that this is how pheromons would smell if they were less subtle.
Dude, there are so many fragrances I'd like to know the name of, but Im so socially awkward I'm afraid to ask what they're wearing for fear of being accused of being creepy or some sort.

Cinnamon. Must. Smell. It.
Even though I don't eat buns and pancakes anymore I still adore cinnamon.
And vanilla too, I like it in my smoothies. I hate that toxic waste manufacturers use it to give their garbage an edible taste.
Cold, fresh air when you open the windows.
Some plants too now when I think of it... especially grounded ones... Tutsan and linden come to mind.
Cocoa powder, but it doesn't have to me powdered.
Petrichor... Cold oranges. Oven-baked chicken, pork.
Some flowers names of which I cannot tell.
Old book pages before donate them to the local library.

Oh, and something I forgot... farts! Farts of some kinds. I like the sweet one... And personal production only... I don't need your farts... eww. What kind of pervert do you think I am?
Dude, there are so many fragrances I'd like to know the name of, but Im so socially awkward I'm afraid to ask what they're wearing for fear of being accused of being creepy or some sort.
You could name the source of that smell, how does it look like... what does it wear...

Wow, I thought this one and German city are homonyms but actually originates from that city. In Russian we call it "eau-de-cologne", in one word.

True man, I really do like some of the perfumes/colognes the guys and gals at my work wear, along with the customers but I feel like asking like what fragrance they are wearing would be to creepy/personal.

Maybe you could preface it by saying "Do you mind me asking, what fragrance are you wearing?" Then it might not come off as so intrusive.

I personally like wearing My Burberry Blush. I don't know a lot about fragrances though, so maybe it smells awful to everyone else. I also like the smell of Gucci's Bamboo, but I don't own it.

If any of you like earthy scents, Lush UK just released a Guardian of the Forest shower gel. It smells heavenly. Like fresh cut grass, with slightly sweet notes.

It depends on the weather.

Hot weather: Versace Pour Home
Cold weather: Terre d'Hermes
In between weather: Issey Miyake Intense Pour Homme
I still do a little spritz of the Tom Ford or Hugo Boss cologne after my shower. God knows why as I don't really go anywhere other than the supermarket, and groceries are hard to impress.

The way I see it, even if I look like shit and feel like shit, I'll be OK as long as I don't smell like shit.

This is why I still wear cologne at my lowest of low points.

All I wear is generic grocery store deodorants. This is going to sound absolutely disgusting, but I really like the smell of body odor. I used to work with a hippy girl who would never wear deodorant. She loved giving random people hugs too, my mum would just about throw up when I came home and she could smell it on my clothes lol.

Fresh clean sweat of someone I love - can't get enough! It's only unpleasant if the person needs detoxing and/or hasn't washed in a while. (How long a while depends.)

I'm convinced commercial deodorants contain an ingredient that makes our bodies smell unpleasant if we stop using it, so we have to get that out of our systems first, and too many people chicken out during that phase. Most of us seriously wouldn't need deodorant if we'd never started using it.

I've experimented woth lots of minerals and zinc and copper eliminate body odor. It only works with transdermal zinc, copper works as a dietary supplement . They have to be used in balance though they compete for absorption in the gut. zinc absorbs most effectively through the skin but it is very drying.

I have read in "the awakened ape' that skin bacteria can even out over time to a non stinky variety if soap is not used .

I have yet to ask someone if I stink to high heaven /.

I think it's ok if you rinse off with water regularly ...

( No soap for me for six months ... I live alone :/ )
