• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

It's not really a recovery quote but I like this from Victor Hugo:

"He had become a kind of Job, having the ocean for the scene of his sufferings. But he was a Job wrestling with difficulty, a Job combating and making head against afflictions: a Job conquering; a combination of Job and Prometheus, if such names are not too great to be applied to a poor sailor and fisher of crabs and crayfish."

It always inspires me to not just endure but to struggle to overcome my obstacles.

Reminds me of the story of the 2 wolves and the one that wins is the one you feed.

I love Rumi quotes. Especially these:

"The wound is the place where the Light enters you"

"Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it."

"Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself."

I'm not religious but this is helpful ngl

The Serenity Prayer

God, grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change
the courage to change the things I can
and the wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time,
enjoying one moment at a time.
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace.
Taking, as he did, the sinful world as it is,
not as I would have it.
Trusting that he will make all things right
if I surrender to His will;
that I may be reasonably happy in this life,
and supremely happy with Him forever.
