Whether for a job, a relationship, sex etc...?

I just messaged a girl on Facebook that I saw in the local store nearby asking her on a date and she just blocked me. It wasn't creepy in any way.

I remember what Elliot Rodger did after nearly his whole life of rejection (don't condone it though). I'm wondering if you know anyone that took rejection of a kind very bad.

Just reaffirms that I have Aspergers.

It wasn't terribly bad, but I knew a guy who first did the, "poor me, I don't deserve you" card. Then when I didn't go out with him out of pity, within 5 minutes, he started begging me and became really angry.

When I was in university, I saw a woman burst into tears in public after someone politely told her they weren't interested. She stuck around crying and it was pretty hard to ignore her since it was in the library, but what can you do in that kind of situation? I also attended a court case once about a guy who stalked a girl in real life after she rejected his friend request on Facebook (at least, that was my understanding of it).

I might have rejected someone in the worst possible way one time..

I was in my room, suddenly my phone rings, I didn't know the number.
Me: Hello?
Him: Uhm... ..Hi.
Me: Who's this?
Him: It's uhh.. I'm uhh.. c-c-Chris..
Me: Who?! How did you get my number?!
(I never give out my number so I was really uncomfortable)
Him: Your friend.. she gave me your number..
Me: WHICH ONE?!
Him: Well I wanted to know.. uhh.. I really like you and.. and I wanted to know..
Me: *Panics* I DON'T DO THAT! *Slams phone down*

Smooth move, ex-lax!
It's kinda funny, but also I feel sorry for the guy, he was trying to tell me so hard and I wrecked him with my anxiety because I thought it was a setup for more bullying.

I think what you did was brave. Some people are cowardly losers who will never step outside their zones of comfort and familiarity. I know rejection stings; I am the queen of it. The queen of receiving it, that is. I admire us (i.e., you and me) for taking chances, and venturing out on proverbial limbs to make new connections. Screw that stupid wench, and keep on being you.

What happened to the crying woman at your university? Did anyone approach her to offer consolation? Just curious.
