Whats the most traumatic way to CTB for family?

I don't know what your family's like, but I imagine a shotgun would be pretty traumatic. If you do it at home, you get out quickly without any chance of rescue, they see your completely obliterated head, and they have to clean it up (or tell someone else to do it- either way, sucks for them).

The most traumatic way? maybe a hanging, or another method that'll make your body look really creepy and disfigured after death. Maybe do it in their house or somewhere they frequent so they'll 100% be the ones to find you. And make a huge mess while you're at it just to further fuck with them. Idk idk

I mean, seeing any death can arguably be traumatic. Someone could find a body that's in pristine condition, no injuries or decomp, and still get PTSD from it. Regardless of what you do, if you're not found soon after death, the scene will probably not look all that great (especially if a length of time has passed).

I do know that shotguns removing half of your skull are, uh, a popular shock video trope for a reason though.

The least traumatizing is when they won't find you first and your death will be a peaceful one.

Either do it somewhere where they'll find you (hanging, bleeding) or something that leaves your body disfigured (truck, train). Bonus points if they know you suffered greatly during death (burning). Of course I'm not advising to go through a horrible death, I'm just saying that if I were to find out my beloved suffered a lot I'd feel even worse. I think if you somehow bled to death in your apartment your parents would find you first and they would find you in a horrible scene (because blood = trauma).

something with a lot of blood that would mess you up a lot. someone said shotgun, i agree with that. if you don't have a gun, id say slitting wrists/ neck, though that is very unlikely to work. a poison that makes you throw up a lot could also bother people pretty badly

To each their own but there probably are few things that should take priority when considering suicide than that.
