• Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at admin@sanctioned-suicide.net.

"No one will ever love you as much as me."

It helped because it was true, and it prepared me for that reality that everyone else in the world would not love me as much. Wasn't quite prepared for not at all but you know, it was a step in the right direction.

"you can make up the work and lecture later just make sure you're okay first"

My AP world teacher said this to me when I attempted to show up to class after a week of not showing up. I was being followed and harassed by a boy who liked me in that class but my teacher didn't know that was happening. He just cared about me and not the reason. When I managed to explain to him I found out he managed to get the school to ban the boy from following, touching, or communicating with me lol. Pretty awesome teacher he also makes the class pretty fun too and I hate history.

The most helpful things people have done for me in life have been the times people tell me "you're more important than abc" whatever the task, disagreement, problem is. It always helps me when the other person steps outside what we are doing and acknowledges that my wellbeing is more important than whatever I'm stressing over.

Because of this, I also try to do it for the people I care about. Even if I'm upset about something I try to take a step back and like with my children say "hey, I wanted you to walk the dogs and I'm upset that you didn't, but you being ok is more important to me than walking the dogs so I'll handle it today" or when an employee is very stressed out or struggling I offer them a mental health day, so they don't have to ask or feel bad about it. I have told my employees many times, I can handle your reports for today, you're welcome to take a day off to focus on your mental health if you need it. In hopes that I am able to give them the help people have given me before by acknowledging that their worth is more than a minor task.
