• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Anyone have small, stupid things that help you?

Here's two I've been doing lately.

1. Personifying my body parts.
Instead of asking myself how I feel, or how my day was, I think back on what my body did. "My legs did some running at badminton, they're probably happy about that. My teeth had chicken strips to chew. My fingers did some typing, clickity-clack. My eyes saw some flowers and also watched a show, they are telling me 'thank you for giving us things to look at'. I guess my body had a pretty good day!"
It's easier for me to think of my body parts as being happy or grateful, than to try and feel that way myself.

2. "What am I taking care of?" game
It can be easier for me to do things for others than for myself. So I personify everything as beings to take care of. When I have to do something, I ask myself, "what am I taking care of?", and make up a little story.
"I'm going to brush my teeth. They work hard to help me, I better help them too. They are probably looking forward to a good brushing."
"I need to do my paperwork. I hate it, but I better do it for my worried thoughts. My thoughts are saying, 'this is going to hang over our head forever!' If I get it done, they'll be so relieved."

It all feels very childish, but "if it's stupid and it works, it's not stupid".

Anyone else have things that work for you?
