Depends on a lot of factors, usually being decapitated by a train is faster and less painful, but with the right height jumping can be as painless or even less painful that train method

Both will cause a lot of SI. I guess if you have a preference to maybe back out if you choose go with train. Once you jump there's no turning back no matter how scared you are on the way down. I'm sure seconds turn minutes on that fall so take that into account.

Please keep in mind OP these are very traumatizing methods and I recommend you look into alternatives.

Both were very scary. I once stuck my head out of the window on the thirty-second floor, my numb heart racing, so scared that I had no strength to go on. So I'm going to stick with SN,I'm a coward, a failed suicide Please do it another way. It takes a lot of courage

I'm looking into all methods at the moment, but I really doubt my own capacity to obtain lethal means or do the planning involved even for CO. I struggle to pitch a tent for example, and I have no experience lighting fires. For some reason train method seems more scary in my mind, so I am considering jumping, just because it's something you can just make the decision to do without having to obtain obscure ingredients or undertake a lot of planning. I would also be able to get to a jumping location before anyone became suspicious. BUT I totally agree with you, this is pretty suboptimal. I wish I was a vet with access to pentobarbital.

Yes, I don't really understand how people manage to actually jump. Some do though.
