Blunt heart injury is a blow to the chest that injures the heart muscles, lacerates (ruptures) the walls of the heart, or damages a heart valve. People may feel like their heart is pounding or racing, feel short of breath, or have dangerously low blood pressure. In other words, you die if you're lucky.
