What will you miss from this world when you wont be here ?

I know that after we are dead we probably do not care about anything, but I am curious what will you miss when you wont be here ? Is anything good in this world for you what would be appreciated also in afterlife?



Family - yeah nothing to talk about, hope I will meet them :)

Music. I am just so used to it its like part of my life, its funny to think that music is a privilege, its so common now but few decades or centuries ago it was only in form of bards/orchesters (live music) Most of the time and most of the people in world did not have privilege to listen so many beautiful peaces. Its really a gift and I am honored and gratefull that I could experience this part of life.

Modern technology - another privilege, internet - literally unlimited place for knowledge, information. Games and Movies, I am not a gamer but I have a few games I used to play from my childchood and its just nostalgy and fun. Movies and Anime - From my teenage years I lived without fater figure but I had a pretty good rolemodels in some fictional characters that do not exist from anime or movies, its funny how I could absorb wisdom from places many would not expect there is and I am gratefull for that also. I have been lost and it showed me a way I wanna shape my character.
(of coruse there are lot of downsides of modern technology but thats for different topic)

I will definitely miss nature. When my health was not that bad I used to go for long walks through meadows, groves enjoying spring or summer, feeling how wind caress my skin, how sun rays are touching my skin and warming it. I will also miss birds, how they sings and every one different song, how they are flying representing freedom. I will miss colours of flowers and all of the things. Blue sky, fluffy summer white clouds slowly floating :) I will miss mountains and view from it, I had one particular place I used to visit, and it was so peacefull, untouched by humans I could observe other peaks from it also valleys and I felt that natural energy so good for meditation. I will miss it.

Food - yeah despite having serious problem with digestion I used to enjoy this pleasure when I could. All the different tastes that are possible mostly in this age, yeah so many possibilities to taste and enjoy. Also I used to drink coffee hmm that sour taste and smell is exactly for me or Green tea with lemon yes I really did enjoy life. Dark chocolate while I was on long walk through nature.

Social life - talking with good people ( I like talk with small group best for me is only 2 or 3 people talking) enjoying their company, talking about deep things or just everything and enjoying present moment. Yes good part of life, sad that I have been pretty much alone for several last years of my life.

What I will miss and I could never experience is this particular age we are living - so many possibilities to travel and to visit, places even our ancestors could not. To learn from different cultures, tribes, see ocen etc.. I feel sad that I will leave before I had chance to enjoy this part this world offers so many options now. This age is unique because its the only one we can do so many things no one before us could.

That probably it, maybe I forgot something, but I feel blessed to have option to live in this unique age.Sorry if this topic do not belong to this forum.

I take comfort in this. It seems like a relief to know I will put aside earthly matters and just cease to exist, except in the memories of people who knew me. They can do with that what they will, it's not mine to deal with.

I don't think I will miss anything, as I will be dead, but undoubltedly, in my last moments I will be thinking of my partner and how much he loves me. I feel like I am such a disgrace because I want to die for no apparent reason, and yet this person chooses to love me regardless, in spite of how hard it is to hear that your loved one, the person you've chosen to spend your life with, wants to die.

After death I won't miss anything because I won't exist .

1 nanosecond after this brain dies then I die and I won't exist forever . So after I death I won't be able to miss anything. No memory of anything that happened in this brief life will remain. its the same as before i was born . Take any year 1900 for example then I didn't miss anything , nor want anything , had no worries no problems and no problem with not existing, no pain , no suffering , no problems . It will be like that again right after I die.

Missing something , wanting something , fear of missing out thinking something is "good" , memories etc are only functions of a brain.and imo are just illusions anyway.

To be honest not much, that's kinda sad lol. I think things like having a dog or having children I would like to have done but can't really miss since I haven't done it. I think some selected friends that I can truly be myself with, I think travelling with some of these said friends. Some nostalgia foods for me. I will miss some good memories I've had. I would really miss being loved and cared for but that isn't in my life anymore so hard to say it's something I would miss when I'm dead when I would have missed it in life anyway

not at all, because of pain I will erase myself soon. But I appreciate good thing that I could experience :)
