What was the best investment you ever did?

I considered to buy stocks but my financial situation is very complex and I don't want to share too much.

I think one of the best purchases I ever did Was my Nintendo Switch 1. Without a joke it helped me so much to cope. I went through insane shit from 2017-2024. And playing on it often comforted me. My favorite games are Splatoon 2/3 I played them almost 4000 hours. But I watch stuff while playing it, it is Not a complete waste of time. I am not Sure how else I could have coped. Playing with my friends online and phoning is great. I feel less lonely.

One of the worst decisions was trying to get my driving license or moving to an apartment which was horrible for me. I am way too anxious and neurotic to drive a car. I think I would accidentally kill someone and end up in jail. The apartment was in a house for students I hated the environment. Moving there costed so much and due to my second psychosis it was a complete waste of money.

I can remember. In my etage once (Not Sure how often it happened) a woman and a man Had extremely loud sex. Like they would Do it with a Megaphone. Maybe it Was their kink that everyone listens to them. It made me feel more lonely though.

I think my old laptop Was a very good purchase. I used it from 2016-2025. Lol. R.i.p.

My galaxy S10 that I bought my mother was the best investment I made as a gift. She went from a dumb Motorola to a smart phone and now is able to share pics on WhatsApp and telegram with her grandkids, me and my sister. She enjoys scrolling YouTube and browsing quora and other websites. it changed her life.


I enjoyed riding my motorcycle for 6 years, lot of fun. but multiple accidents where I was hit by someone else when I was just riding by the side of the road made me give it up. it was a good investment.


Ps4, phew. thousands of hours just into overwatch alone. Bloodborne maaaaaan! phew! one of the best ever investments for sure. gaming is the best way to get the mind off other bullshit.

My current desktop PC. Cost me more than a year of salaries, but it's top of the line, can do AI stuff locally fine, for the most part, and I can play basically whatever I want in full ultra settings...even though I mostly play retro games BUT STILL!
