I had a conversation with my family member about my draft for suicide. I didn't know how to explain it. I was told that they would be here for anything I needed, which made me uncomfortable because I don't want people to want me to stay here. Not sure what to do after, and I think they told other people.
Alternatively you can say that you wrote the note to "Get your thoughts on paper." and you were going to toss it away, if you have a therapist you can tell them that this is what your therapist told you to do as a coping mechanisms and that whole "It helps me clarify and process my thoughts" bullshit therapists like to push on you.
