Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

What to do after drinking sn until you loose consciousness?

I feel like I'll panic and botch my own attempt. 30 min is a long time of just sitting and waiting to die. I thought maybe being in call with someone would help but it's probably better to die alone.

where'd you hear about 30 minutes? i thought unconsciousness tends to happen quicker than that. i was imagining more like 10-15 minutes.
i was thinking of just lying there or maybe watching something on the tv (since i'll be at a hotel). like starting a movie, drinking the SN when it's time, then continuing to watch as if it's no big deal.

From my understanding of SN, based off threads here, medical articles/reports, news articles, and coroner reports, if you take the recommended dosage for your body weight, you'll loose consciousness fairly quickly. 30 minutes is highly unlikely, you're probably looking at 10 to 20 minutes max. Even if you're conscious around the 20 minute mark, you'll likely be very out of it. You deteriorate quickly with SN, I've read of multiple cases of people regretting their choice and calling for help and still dying. That's why IMO one should be 100% sure, give it deep thought, and be ready to die if they're going to take SN. Sure some have survived attempts, but for the most part it's really not something you can go back from, and the effects take place very quick.

Listening to music, writing, maybe taking some sleeping pills to not bother with that choice in those moments. From what I know of the lethargic and weakening symptoms, however, I doubt you could do anything but lie on the floor or on your bed before long and think back on short collection of pleasant memories.
I read the average was 12 minutes. A while back I found a video of a guy who filmed himself taking SN and it showed him until he lost consciousness. He did not appear to be in shape to do anything. He looked nauseous at first and then he was really out of it. At one point he was kicking his legs.

If you want to see the video for yourself google "Joe Winko sodium nitrite". He ingested SN last August and he recorded his entire process.
I would have posted the video link here, but maybe that goes against the forum's rules.
Realistically, I know that once I drink it there will be anxiety from SI but that's what I plan on using benzos for. From most of the reports/sources I've seen, it only takes around 5-10 minutes for unconsciousness. My reasoning is that if SI would hinder me from using that method, either it's not the right one for me or I need to be introspective about why I'm so afraid of 5 minutes of suffering vs. my perceived lifetime of suffering.
Personally, what I'll most likely be doing is listening to music. I can't see myself being able to focus on anything else.

is there anything i can take thatd knock me out faster than the sn would (without interfering with it)? im super worried about si taking over in the moment and making it scary, even though i know logically that im doing the right thing.
I would be listening to my "death playlist" that I always play when I attempt suicide as they're comforting in a way, while also hugging and surrounding myself with my favourite plushies while laying-back in a sitting position… Realistically, I don't think I would have the strength and a clear mind to do anything more taxing than those two considering how much of my energy would have probably been utilised to pull that final straw of drinking the SN.

take benzos, go to bed and try to calm down before the symptoms hit you. you could take out the batteries from your phone if you're afraid that you might call for help in panic. that's what i'd probably do.
True. It's important to note that he didn't fast before he did it, and he was also drinking alcohol, which prevented it from going as smoothly as it could have

Yikes, I'm not going to watch since I don't think I can handle that, but yeah I think black vomit is a sign of a GI bleed? Hopefully that was just from the alcochol and not the SN
