I am so annoyed that the ligature I got is kinda shit. I'm doing a partial hanging. I'm not sure how much of me should be on the ground, like if I should stand or kneel
I got a cotton shibari rope that's 10 meters long and 5mm thick. Is this thickness okay? I'm gonna have to cut it because it's way too long, what length should I cut it to? I'm 158cm (5'2") and weigh around 44kgs (95lbs)
Should I go with a jute rope that's 10mm thick instead? I'm just worried because it looks rough and I want something soft
I also have a necktie that's 155cm long and 30mm thick. The material is a bit silky and it's 100% polyester. What do you think about this ligature?
Thank you so much for any advice

5mm thickness is too thin. it's gonna hurt. but hanging in general will.. but still. I would recommend buying a polyester/nylon rope with 10mm thickness at least. you will lose consciousness and breath but that's it before you collapse.
