I'm from Southeast Asia and we learned English all throughout primary, junior high, and high school. In high school we have some optional languages like Mandarin, French, and Japanese (maybe more but that's what I know and there's only Japanese in my school). I guess Mandarin is the second most learned language other than English. I've been learning English since I was 4 and continue to use it in my daily life.

I know American Sign Language and English.

I want to learn sign language but hasn't gotten around with it. It's confusing because I think I should learn it in my own language first but also in English and Japanese, and I'm not a very patient person lol. Do you have any tips on how to learn it? I like reading and that's how I learn foreign language but sign language is practical and I'm not sure where to go lol

I was learning Spanish and French over Duolingo and I agree that it is not a very good app.

I also use Duolingo to learn Russian and Italian. Also do you (or anyone reading this) have a good language learning app (preferably free too lol)?

I'm from Scandinavia and the only languages I speak fluently are my native language and English. By default, I can dabble in the other Scandinavian languages as well as German to a degree. I took French in school, but didn't take it very seriously, which I regret today, and can only ask for the way and order food.
