As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I really liked the film WWDITS, is the series very good in comparison, is it quite different?Breaking Bad, Oz and Curb.
Honorable mentions: The Wire, What We Do In The Shadows, Better Call Saul.
How did you feel about the consecutive seasons of TD? I thought the first season was good (one of my sibling's favorites also), skipped the second season because I could already tell I wasn't going to appreciate it, and I did get into the third season but never finished it because it failed to continually hold my attention.True Detective for its great writing allowing it to get away with plageurising entire paragraphs from 'Ligottis - conspiracy against the human race'
The Leftovers is as close to perfection as it gets for me, and the score and choice of music is just, as they say, *chef's kiss* lol. I appreciated it so much more upon rewatching it with my mother, who also really loved it. (One of the few things I can manage to do with her that doesn't arise in turmoil, but even that is coming to an end)For me best series = The Leftovers (HBO)
Best mini-series = Maniac (Netflix)
Best comedy = Arrested Development (Fox/Netflix)
I know what you mean, it's very difficult for anything to hold my attention and focus these days, the longer the suffering goes on, the harder it is to function, never mind distract myself...even passive distractions are becoming tiresome and sometimes somewhat triggering. If I wasn't so miserable, I probably also wouldn't be as picky with what I spend my viewing energy on (in one way, that's a good thing, but it also reduces the pool of diversions from my waking nightmare, limiting the horizons).I can't really watch shows anymore, was able to binge-watch Naruto before my meds truly wore off (or did they..?). Not sure if I could watch it now, tbh.
It's almost the same. The set up is the same, the comedic style is the same. The only major difference is the cast.I really liked the film WWDITS, is the series very good in comparison, is it quite different?
I'm really not the watching movies/TV person but I like Star Trek. In particular, I like Vulcans.
One of the psychiatries I was at diagnosed me with borderline disorder. That kinda surprised me because I often come across as cold and super-rational, to an extent that it infuriated my therapists that I never let any emotion surface. But there are emotions below my surface that constantly threaten to rip me apart. In bad times, I struggle to contain the urge to commit extreme acts of self-harm that could leave me crippled. I emotionally hurt someone I loved badly in a sudden outburst of darkness. I had to contain myself a lot to not hurt a friend who was...
... I'm not normally into physical violence, but honestly I don't know what I'd be capable of if I lose control.
The lesson is, please just let me be cold and rational. It's the best for everyone involved. Stop trying to assimilate me, stop trying to make me lose my mask. You and I may regret it. I feel like I can relate a great lot to those Vulcans.
