what is the sharpest blade or knife i can buy?

im tempted to slit my throat and i want to know what blade to use. also self harm alot.

A cheap pack of razor blades is probably the sharpest.
Having the fortitude to do it would be the problem. Van Gogh cut off his ear but he was really crazed.
If you are serious, I suggest you look for a more attainable method.

really? i dont think they're that sharpe but then again my self harm is kind of severe

Afaik the sharpest knifes are obsidian knifes.
The other option and maybe easier to get is a knife that a butcher uses to slaughter animal to cut their throats.
What about a scalpel used in surgeries?

They will seriously hurt you. That is why a simple box cutter is so dangerous. I have seen a few terrible accidents.
To do this intentionally will much more difficult.

Depends on the type of the razor. If he meant the Double edged safety razors (the ones that your grandpa used), they are very sharp, the Japanese brand Feather is probably the sharpest. You also have straight razor, the quality ones have a nice hollow grind, they are deadly sharp, can cut straight to the bone. I don't recommend this method of self harm, find something else.

There are much better ways to CTB. The charcoal method seems a lot more peaceful and less painful and traumatic than a blade injury.
