Like the title says, I'm having trouble figuring out which method to use because I'm not sure which would be the easiest for me to obtain. I initially really wanted to go with SN, but I searched for a couple hours and could not yet find a way to buy it.
For context, I am in the United States and I am in college.
Also, I calculated the approximate amount of alcohol it would take to kill me and I'm going to be able to obtain it soon. Is drinking to death a good way to go? Out of all the resources I've read, I haven't seen anything about it so far. I've never even been drunk before so I dont know what it would feel like, I might test that out first, idk.

Plenty of substances are easy to get. That doesn't really sound like the issue here.

Good ways to go do not really exist. It all depends on what works for you i.e. pain, how you will be found, time, money. What is most important to you? Dying or dying reasonably comfortably? That usually answers most questions.

Drinking to death sounds like it could be a challenge for you regardless if you haven't been drunk before. You will probably pass out or throw up or both before you get close to where you are aiming for if you lack that tolerance.

Good luck out there.

I guess I'm a complete beginner when it comes to obtaining substances so I don't know how to go about that at all, besides maybe Amazon for very loosely regulated ones lmao, so I just thought that was my main issue.

I definitely want to ctb as comfortably as possible, although I can tolerate a reasonable amount of physical discomfort. I'm also ok with a fairly slow death or at least a slower acting substance; I dont need something thats going to kill me in a few minutes for fear of calling for help or anxiety before death if it takes too long. It would actually be kind of relieving to have some time to myself to go over all my best memories and make sure I get to reminisce as much as possible on my way out so I can feel happy again one last time before I ctb.

I figured Id probably end up throwing up and feeling sick before drinking enough to ctb if I was trying alcohol; theres a chance i try it anyway just to see what happens though, unless there are nasty permanent effects that you can get from near death by drinking. I dont want to end up living a worse life if it goes wrong. I know I can make sure it isn't seen as an attempt since im small and it wont take me much to get drunk so if its my first time drinking Id be more likely to overestimate how much I can take and it is a fairrly believable accident for a stupid college student.
Are there any ways that almost dying from drinking too much can permanently damage you?

Thanks for your reply :)
