What is the one thing you would take out of this life that has actually made you think? I learned not to take loved ones for granted. I guess I learned it in hindsight, but it was still a teaching moment. Are there lessons in this life that are still valuable, even if it is too late to truly value them?

That you can never become independent, every second you are going to rely on earth for oxygen , nature can live without you , but you can't, we are weak infront of nature, the moment you take birth , you will be welcomed by hardships , even death is difficult to attain, pay the price endure the pain, we are just mere crawlers who think they are smart but we only come here to suffer and then cease to exist forever, never to return again , which only means that life is worthless , we just wander from here to there and never get to know the truth about the universe.

That for the most part it is awful. Mistakes made when you are young can haunt you the rest of your life.
If your parents were poor you will most likely be poor as well. Very few make it out of poverty.
There will always be rich people disigning tax law to benefit themselves the most and they are the least to need it.
Then have the balls to bitch about people needing any help. When they are the ones who don't pay enough to live on.

life is not like the stories we are told. this might seem obvious but i think most people are still holding onto this deeply-ingrained belief that everything will turn out okay, that the good guys win, that things happen for a reason... we are fed stories all our lives, books, movies, games, etc, that have plots and they have a beginning and an end. in these stories, bad things happen but the hero comes out on top, they come out stronger. real life doesn't work like that.

my mom isn't a bad person. she's not a good person but she's not a bad person. she went to college, she had kids, she had a job. she helped her parents when they got sick. and now she's fucked from a spinal injury and a genetic mutation that gave her cancer. her life is fucking misery every day. she didn't do anything wrong but she is going to die in agony.

you could do everything right and still get fucked over in the end. and you're NOT going to do everything right because you're a three dimensional human being who can't predict or control the future. everything you have can be taken from you at a moment's notice. comfort and safety is fleeting.
