I have decided that I do not have the energy to go to my psychiatry appointment today... My plan is to just Not show up because either way if I cancel he will call the police for a wellness check... So if the outcome will be the same either way then I would rather save energy and not show up instead of calling and trying to sound "stable" when I cancel my appointment... My main question is what happens if you "aren't home" when the police show up to do a wellness check... I was planning to either pretend to not be home or actually leave the house to avoid talking with the police because with the condition I am in mentally today I think it would be absolutely impossible to convince anyone that I am not a danger to myself...

Wish I knew the answer for you. They would maybe contact someone who knows you?

Not too related but I was thinking from your last post, that it seemed to sum up the issues you were having so well. I guess that you're afraid, maybe appropriately, of going (back?) to a physch ward or hospital. But if you had to explain to someone that you weren't feeling any progress, then you could almost use that exact post (minus the ctb) to hopefully get them to change tactics or something. If they would.

I have had 2 wellness checks and both times I was home, unfortunately, though I completely did not expect them. If I knew that I was going to have visitors, I would F-off to somewhere in the neighbourhood, perhaps even to the pharmacy where I get my meds and where they know me. First, they would not immediately think I'd go hang out there. Secondly, if I need a witness, I have a pretty reliable one. And 3rd, if I appear pretty normal and sane, the pharmacist can vouch for me. Just to add some fun to it, I'd even ask for a Covid home test kit to be sure that a transaction was documented!
