Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

This might be an odd question, but I'm curious about what everyone here envisions recovery and being healthy to be.

Do you look to be a contributing member of society? Is it more introspective and about finding a headspace that is more positive? What do your milestones look like?

Personally, there is still inner conflict for me regarding recovery, and whether I actually want to. Looking forward to hear your thoughts!

For me it would be either of these in no particular order:

- a girlfriend who really loves me and i love her (I truly believe that true love conquers all even though i never experienced it)
- a job in my field (i studied computer science but nobody wants to hire me ... i guess people can sense my suicidal thoughts and it creeps them out?!)
- a lottery win of a couple millions so i can finally live my life instead of surviving day by day (The thought of being very rich gives me ideas of how to spread it amongst the people who do good like no kill animal shelters or elderly care or orphanages etc.)

I can't recover because i have no love, no job and no money. Any one of those three would change my life entirely.

recovery means to me just mainly being happy and being sure that i could maintain that happiness for a while, and i'd be okay with any number of ways to reach that. but the easiest path for me, i think, while still being way too hard and improbable to ever achieve is:

- getting a girlfriend or enbyfriend, preferably in real life rather than online
- a job that i can comfortably work, or education that i can comfortably fulfill, without sapping too much of my time, this is by far the hardest prong
- a safe, stress-free environment so i can spend time with my friends and stuff without being overwhelmed
- some possessions i really want, like dresses, books, subscription services, funny computer things..

For me, recovery means:
  1. Restoring healthy sleep. Sleeping only three hours at a time several times a day, is exhausting.
  2. Rebuilding my self-esteem
  3. Having a stable job
  4. Moving out of my parents' home
  5. Finding a girlfriend I truly love
At this stage I have changed my worldview. I have moved away from mix nihilism pessimism nietzscheanism and determinism.
I have been able to keep my borderline personality disorder under control most of the time.
However without healthy consistent sleep, I don't think I'll be able to make any further progress. I've already been fired from some good jobs because I physically couldn't get out of bed in the morning

I want to stop hating myself, and build healthy and positive coping habits. I want to be functional instead of bedrotting all of the time. I want to be a mathematician and I want to be stealth instead of visibly trans.

Very simple: Love. Love to me is the meaning of life. Love from others, love to others, love of your work, love of yourself. I hate life because I have not loved. When you do not love, hate is what replaces it.
