I find horror movies to be really scary, and both types completely ruin my mood~ >_< just wondering, if you know how to answer, why do you find them comforting? :)I watch movies, I collect them hardcore, even though I'm gradually stopping buying them. Watching movies especially horror and depressing movies gives me so much comfort, it's a piece of me that I find within each movie I watch.
ohh even psychological horror??I find horror movies to be really scary, and both types completely ruin my mood~ >_< just wondering, if you know how to answer, why do you find them comforting? :)

Cause they hit a part of me that is filled with rage and sadness, I feel like I can relate to movies of that genre, I often imagine myself as a survivor in a zombie Apocalypse wondering around the world in corn fields, Forrests and killing zombies, feeling like I am good enough, feeling like I'm achieving something in my life by living and not just surviving. Which is what I'm doing now just surviving, but when I watch these films I feel like I'm alive, I feel like I can relate, I can feel the hatred and dispair and I feel like I'm not lonely. That's why it gives me comfort, understandable though why you may not like those sought of films, we are all different and find comfort in different ways, hopefully you can find comfort in a different way <3I find horror movies to be really scary, and both types completely ruin my mood~ >_< just wondering, if you know how to answer, why do you find them comforting? :)

Yup even psycho horror, funny how ur title though is (I think unintentionally) a reference to 28 Years Later, well to any horror film in fact, most of the time these films are momento mori, even though some people are so desperate to survive…

Oh well where do I start, Never Let Me Go is an amazing psychological drama, mostly on the ethics on using people to be organ donors.
