Discussion What do you believe happens when you die?

When i was in my teenager years, i was convinced that there must be an afterlife, i watched a ton of nde stories..
over the time i've experienced such horrible things that i couldn't believe that something like 'order' and an afterlife can exist,
or at least not with love and peace, as some describe it.. i wish i could just believe in it again, even though i do at times, but
only when im happy, which is has become very rare tbh..

what are your thoughts for that topic?

It doesn't require going to church, or getting baptised, or living a clean life. The only thing you have to do to go to heaven is believe on The Lord Jesus Christ. The most famous verse in The Bible is John 3:16 which says this: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

The bible says ask and ye shall receieve, seek and ye shall find, knock and it will open. If someone wants the truth bad enough, they will find it. Everyone has the law of God written in their heart and we are all condemned by that fact. According to the bible, we all deserve hell, even the people in the jungle. If they call out to God and ask him to save them, he will send them missionaries and they will get saved before its too late.

I sometimes think we might have the equivalent of having bits and pieces of ourselves join up in that collective unconscious that Jung talked about. Maybe we're all digital, this is a really bad simulation, and the pieces of us that aren't outright deleted are recycled into new lives? Or maybe we hallucinate and our brain dies and we stop existing, which is both comforting and not.

Only that doesn't prove to anyone that they will 100% go to heaven...neither does another user's assurance there is nothing because they are smart and they think that's obvious. Nobody knows. This questions always results in such egotistical declarations or something can't know and it annoys me.

Nothingness cannot be conceived of, therefore it cannot exist. We live our lives as ourselves, forever and ever. We have come to believe in the habit of death; it is, in my opinion a fiction. We return as ourselves, a little better, a little stronger for it. Suicide, while tragic, does not equal bad karma- quite the opposite. It vindicates us as human beings, whose consciousness has made the world.

I personally believe we must come back as something or other. I find it so hard to comprehend nothingness that my brain just doesn't compute it. Also I just think all animals have a consciousness and where does that come from? I like to think I'll come back as anything other than a human, fuck doing this again! I've had times in my life where I believed that whatever someone thinks will happen, is gonna happen. So, if you think you'll go to hell/heaven, then that's what's gonna happen. If you believe that you'll be reincarnated, then that's what's gonna happen to you.

My beliefs are about the soul that leave the body, losing memory, pain, coscience, griefs and praises, and all the other stuff related to body and material life.. then move inside a new life and everything restarts.

An extended metascientific theory thinks also that the comulated experience, goes somewhere: probably in a reserved space into the universe, as long that there is quite enough storage for anyone.
