What do you believe happens after you die?

I'm sure some other people have said something similar...

I think it's just like before we were born..just total numbness and peacefull..

But deep down there is an afterlife where I can see all my friends and is just a place without evil. I dealt with enough evil here on earth lol

When I was 5 or 6 years old, I became very interested in the astronomy section of an encyclopedia and decided to ask my mom about the stars. She told me something along the lines of how every star in the sky is a person who has left this world as a result of death, as well as something else that I no longer remember. She was a very religious person, perhaps that had something to do with it; I've read the Bible and her other books several times, but not closely enough to find even a single mention of it in them.

Maybe when we die we wake up from the simulation and they (the gods) will tell us what it was all for. perhaps for their entertainment like in the sims...

I believe we reincarnate, though not necessarily as humans. There are too many stories of young children remembering their past lives to ignore. Keep in mind these aren't kids who thought they were celebrities. They give accurate details about ordinary people who have no connection to the families they're born into.

I have no idea and I'm not going to pretend I do. I do know that we stop breathing and slowly we decompose into dirt. And the world goes on without us.
