What would you expect from a society steeped in Christian values? Is that the truth?
That we must suffer to be worthy of Jesus' sacrifice? This bs is infuriating. What would you expect from a society steeped in Christian values?
"It's been decades. Now what?""try other therapists or other medication, you must have just not found the right one yet"
They'll say anything except accepting that death is an option"It's been decades. Now what?"
"Keep trying. Have faith. Etc"They'll say anything except accepting that death is an option
You beat me to the punch."try other therapists or other medication, you must have just not found the right one yet"
The vast majority of the human species is nothing but a putrid landfill seething with stupidity, self-righteousness, arrogance, cowardice, callousness, and sadism."Keep trying. Have faith. Etc"
These people are trash.
They'd rather torture us then to accept death, and I don't say that lightly. They would rather force us to live like prisoners rather than giving us the OPTION to leave. I can't remember exactly who on this forum said it, but it's a message that really resonated with me. "Everybody should have the option to say enough" and I couldn't agree more, being stripped away of that fundamental right is nothing less than torture. They'll say anything except accepting that death is an option
Why are they like that? Busybodies are terrible. They'd rather torture us then to accept death, and I don't say that lightly. Because we're conditioned to think these things, so those who never experienced what it's like to want the option to leave usually believe suicide=bad. It's hard to change a mind that's been fed biased thoughts. Why are they like that? Busybodies are terrible.
But why the need to go on a crusade? Why not just grieve the loss of your dead child in private?Because we're conditioned to think these things, so those who never experienced what it's like to want the option to leave usually believe suicide=bad. They think that you're wrong, and that they know better. They know if you keep treating your mind like a flask in a chem lab eventually you will be okay and like everyone else. They've never been on a psychiatric drug, they dont know what its lie to try medicine after medicine only to see your situation get worse by the day. They don't actually care, just put of a facade of "I'm a good person and do the right things". They steer clear of the mentally ill like everyone elseI wrote something here but deleted it because it's not relevant to the question I posed.
Yeah the people in my life have pulled that shit too and they hate when I point out that those examples are not me and I'm not them."It will get better"
"Just take things one step at a time"
"I knew this one person who also had depression"
The problem with pro-lifers is that they like to use success stories of other people as a means to say "Look at x person they suffered from y and managed to become successful and happy."
A good example that I heard from a pro-lifer was "Look Stevie Wonder is blind and managed to become successful and happy in life." Pro-lifers tend to nitpick these few and far between exceptions as a means of "If they can do it you can do it too." The problem is these cases are rare exceptions and not the rule. Many blind people around the world are not happy/ try to cope with the impairment they have. Pro-lifers use rare exceptions and try to generalize it as the rule, but at the end of the day for every success story there are hundreds of forgotten stories of people who tried to overcome hardship and failed. That's why these success stories are call exceptions and not the rule.
