Poison dart frog: They have such nice colours, beautiful to look at, and they are also such little guys (don't ask why I like little guys for frogs and big ones for snails) (yes I know they are deadly poisonous)

Electric eels: I like eels (and long animals in general, don't know why; Freud probs has a theory about that) and for electric eels, I am additionally fascinated by their ability to deliver electric shocks

Fire Salamanders: Apparently they only inhabit Europe, didn't even know that! On my way of accidentally doxxing myself. Always happy to see one in my garden, yellow and black is a great colour combination

Deer, especially Roe Deer: The latter are also exclusive to Europe and probably my favourite mammals. I grew up on the countryside and was always happy to see them in the distance. Though they quickly run away towards the forest when they spot people. Maybe I identify with them because of their shyness.

I've been very fond of otters lately, despite some of them being territorialist (eurasian otter) or extremely dangerous (giant river otter).

Too bad only one otter species is domesticable and having them as a pet is a big of a chore. I just watch the KOTSUMET youtube videos of Kotaro and Hana

My favourite animal are deer. I love them so much and where I used to stay I was very near by woodlands. I saw them all the time, and I've had many, many close encounters with deer, so many I think people would think I'm lying if I told them all about it. They are extremely curious animals, but also very cautious.

I feel bad for the deer in the headlights effect though. I think that is relatable. I trust them as animals and I feel they represent trying to tackle obstacles with grace, as even fleeing from danger they are elegant.

Sadly I live in a coastal location now (I love where I stay, I just don't see deer often now) there's not a lot of trees, although I can take some nature paths not too far from me, so I saw a roe buck on a trail at night while cycling home. Roe deer look like a somewhat over sized greyhound, though they are still much smaller than red deer. Was great, pitch black with zero lighting and cause I'm so silent and came round a corner we never saw each other until we were almost face to face. Made my whole week honestly. I did spook the poor thing, but it's better than it getting hit if I was on a motorcycle or driving.

i've always been overwhelmed with social anxiety and opted to back out of any situation that required human contact. i related with them enough to use a stag as the charge on my coat of arms!!

i feel like wild turkeys are my favorite animal. it couldn't be a far-off epic zoo animal, the animals i see with my naked eye are the ones i like best. i get so excited when i see a flock of turkeys. i love the way the flock quietly mutters and if they hear a sound they all gobblegobble together they're the cutest

foxes for sure cats take a close second. i used to not like foxes very much as i dont really like animals in general but someone managed to make me love them so much and ever since they grew onto me they've been my favourite animal ever. god i love them so much i always look for foxes if i ever have to leave the house and i really hope that someday i can pay to have a fox experience to pet one, as wild foxes are a bit harder to get close to.

I love birds the most! Absolute favorite are hummingbirds but we don't have them in my country so always a joy to see the next best thing - SUNBIRDS So cute!!!!!! Wish I could fly too!! Being able to fly is so cool.
