Discussion What did you run away from ?

This is important to me to know so please answer truthfully. No judgement.

What in life was good for you that you ran away from ? If it was bad for you, then obviously you made the right decision.

But if it was good for you : it could be a healthy relationship, a job, a college degree, a chance to follow your passion.

What did you run away from and what did it cost you ?

A software development internship at a big aircraft manufacturing company

I didn't accept the position because the salary was lower than my full time job at the time, it was in another city, and I would need to go live at my (then) gf's house with her parents - my pride wouldn't allow that

It is my greatest regret in life, because that position in my resumé would open so many doors... Today I see younger people with better careers than me, because they were willing to take risks like these and it is one of my greatest motivations to ctb
