Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.
This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.
In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I'm in a similar position with a disease which should have killed me years ago. I'm so tired of waiting to die and being unable to make any future plans.I have heart failure which makes it hard to breath. I tell myself sick enough to walk the line but just wish I would die already.
Do you think your misophonia/kinesia contributed to the depression and the need to CTB? I have it too, it's hard to see a life that doesn't involve isolating from everyone to avoid triggers. Used to wish I was deaf, but I've settled for death insteadMentally: CPTSD thanks to a horrific childhood abused by both "parents", OCD, anxiety, hypersensitivity, clinical depression, misophonia, misokinesia, etc.
Physically: a fatal and incurable disease, thyroid issues, arthritis pain, eye floaters, visual snow, tinnitus, hot flushes and weight issues.
If I was an animal, I'd have been humanely euthanized by now.
Do pain meds help alleviate your pain?I have chronic severe pain due to back issues (DDD, failed back surgery syndrome etc.) and migraines...
Responding to Pookie- Yes, mediations help some, but I fear with the government's crackdown on chronic pain patients I won't be able to get them much longer, and that is one of the many reasons I am in this group. I am so tired of being in pain all the damn time...
