Just looking for some new politics/philosophy book recommendations! I'm currently reading Simulacra and Simulation by Jean Baudrillard.
What kind of philosophy are you interested in? In general I would advise sticking to the more practical stuff. Stoicism is already a very good start. Maybe supplement it with some eastern wisdom texts like the tao te ching or the dhammapada? What are your recommendations for entry level books to philosophy?

Nietzsche is difficult because he builds on and critiques a lot of prior philosophy. Maybe you want to look at some of the people he's been influenced by first or read a book about him rather than by him?I'm interested in existentialism and ethical philosophy. Meditations is the first "proper" philosophical book I'm reading. Nietzsche's and Dostoevsky's philosophy are something I want to get into. I also find the overlap between psychology and philosophy interesting. I've thought about reading Carl Jung.
