i really like the purge movies, they're intense/suspenseful and different than most horror films.
As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

alien is a great film. A real " woman in peril" film! Love it!
the Shining is also a great film! When that creepy old woman gets out of the bath tub.....THAT creeped me out!
@voyager have you seen " Lovely Molly" and " Mother" ?.....They are great horror films! "Mother" stars Jennifer Lawrence and Javier Bardem!
That's ok! No probs. Mother was about Mother Earth and the damage being done to her. Javiers character was god or Satan I think. Yes Satan. Yes check out Lovely Molly!! It's a great film. In Mother the people sitting on the sink were supposed to be indicative of people ruining the planet. That's why Mother ( JenniferLawrence) was trying to stop them. Then it all went wrong.Hey @BlackPoppet, sorry, never saw the edit. I didn't see the first, but I did see Mother. Liked that one, it reminded me of a dream state. The constant lack of reason, things/issues continuously forcing themselves on one and of course this helppless feeling to do anything about it. Like those assholes consistenly sitting on the sink, haha. Will check out Lovely Molly.
As for Alien, ya, great film. Doesn't frighten me per se, but the ambience and soundtrack is awesome and since it is listed as horror one might as well mention it, right. And Shining, uuh ya, that scene creeped me out too. Also the soundtrack of that film is so good. Great actors and the dialogues of course.
You've always been the caretaker.
Ah, I see. Hadn't thought of it that way. Thanks, symbolism has never been my strong suit. Probably why I'm the lousiest David Lynch watcher ever. That's ok! No probs. Not exactly conventional horror movies, but certainly nightmare-inducing, although perhaps not at first glance.

One of the Scooby-Doo movies that had trees that came to life gave my daughter nightmares for a while.Yeah, some of them terrorised me during my childhood. But you forgot the worst one aka "The Fox and the Hound". Hated the hunt scene. And why is your name greyed out? Hope all is well.
PS: Forgot about Wolf Creek, good stuff.
Can imagine, even the small stuff we consider harmless as adults might still be scary to an innocent kid in the process of exploring this world. Maybe trees do come alive, how would a child know? The world can be both magical and haunting.I thought Hostel 2 was surprisingly good.
