what are some games you like on the 3DS?

i like kid icarus, cooking mama, etrian oddysey, and shin megami tensei. i was trying to think of games that i would want to play. i'm not really that interested in pokemon since i think it's kind of boring, but i know a lot of people like/liked playing the games. i recently modded my 2DS so i could play whatever, even though i might just leave it lying around again. i also downloaded spirit camera: the cursed memoir because i watched a playthrough of fatal frame 1.

i used to know someone that was really into the silent hill series, but we stopped talking. since i'm dying soon yet still have a lot of free time, i've been thinking about all the other things i've could've talked about with people or how i could've just had longer conversations. i still have people that talk to me now, but i've been trying to sabotage my relationships with most of the people i know for a while now. because i thought that i wasn't someone worth liking, i guess. i would've liked to talk about silent hill with him a little more, but i don't think he wants me to talk to him again. he stopped responding to my texts a while ago.

i dislike that i'm playing on a 2DS because it looks less cool than a 3DS. it's also bright yellow. me and my sister found it for really cheap in the store, but we honestly never played on it.

all the SMT games on 3ds are good. etrian was always too hard for me

i pretty much only used mine for RPGs. fire emblem, bravely default, fantasy life, i could recommend more but its already annoying. played a lot of animal crossing too

i don't think i've ever finished an etrian game because i end up not being able to beat a boss or kept dying, lol. i really liked the cartography and dungeon crawler aspect. i remember wanting to replay the etrian odyssey 3 demo from the eshop because i never felt like asking my parents to buy it for me.

i feel like rpg games are the best thing about the 3DS besides mario and pokemon. my sister was super into animal crossing new leaf but got bored of playing new horizons during covid. i don't think i'll find myself ever wanting to play pokemon games even though i have legends arceus and pokemon violet cartridges.

I liked Mario and Luigi: Dream Team and Animal Crossing: New Leaf~ I don't even think I have any other 3DS games~ xD I preferred the DS and GBA more! :)
in regards to New Leaf tho, I can see why your sister liked it so much! :) unfortunately, the villagers get mad if you're gone for a week, so they're going to be super mad at me if I come back~ >_<

i felt the same. fans recommend playing with a guide sometimes to minimize difficulty spikes and enjoy the rest. seems lame to me. maybe you'd like the Mario & Luigi rpgs, there's a ton of them

new leaf is so much better than new horizons, it's sad.

Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire is so pretty and cosy. Pretty much the last time I loved the entire aesthetic of a pokemon game.

I haven't played a 3DS in over half a decade, but from memory my favourite games I remember playing on it were Super Mario 3D Land, Tomodachi Life, Pushmo,
Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy, Star Fox 64 3D, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, Kirby: Triple Deluxe, and there might have been a few others.
