I have been scouring this site on hanging and so many say that in order to make it as painless as possible, you need to first find the carotid artery by feeling around in your neck just above the Adam's apple until you find the pulse. When you press down on it, you should faint within a few seconds, therefore, that's where you should place the rope. I've found the pulse in my neck, but whenever I press down on it, I don't faint or even feel like I'm coming close to fainting... It just hurts. Help!
