alcohol, cigarettes, SH, video games, food and coffee. I don't have all of these addictions at once. I usually bounce between them at varying intensities. I just quit alcohol but my cravings for cigarettes and SH have been high since.
I probably first got addicted to video games as a child. SH at 13 or 14. cigarettes at 16. alcohol at 22 or 23. coffee at the same time.
I also do that. Bounce between them
ALCOHOL. It will kill me, if I don't do it first.
Well at least you've got a back-up
Tbh I'm not addicted to any of this stuff. I did a lot of different drugs excessively in the past (decades ago) but they didn't make me addicted either. I drink beer almost daily lately but I'm pretty sure if I had a fulfilling purpose I wouldn't even drink beer, at least not daily.
Edit: I'm addicted to SaSu and chatting LOL ^^
I was also gonna say about SaSu
The only addiction I have right now is fapping. Otherwise I use some substances from time to time. With the ranking for killing loneliness:
- original U94 xanax bars
- S-Ketamine
- Mushrooms
But ive taken bascially everything (execpt H, meth and some RC) to try and numb the loneliness. But I really need to up the dose quickly with Xans and S-Keta to get the same feeling of numbness, so I just do it If I really feel lonely.
What I wanna try next is Testo. Studys show that you feel way better on it and my levels dropping with my age aswell.
Ty for sharing
Video games and a form of self harm, but nothing really bad. I also have a pepsi max "addiction" (not sure if it counts haha, but I can't stop and it's kinda hurting me financially...)
I used to be addicted to sleeping medication (used to take really large doses to keep me asleep for 18+ hours) and also more serious forms of SH, but it's better now
Idk what they put in Pepsi Max and Diet Coke but they're highly addictive even though they don't have sugar. And I mean besides the caffeine ofc.
What kind of sh? If you don't mind?
cigarettes, porn, music, films, weed ,coke, internet, laptop
Fare enough
addiction in common parlance is a nebulous term. medically speaking, doing something everyday does not mean you are addicted. there are other considerations to make. do you prioritise x behaviour over private or professional obligations? what happens if you try to stop? do you continue to engage in x behaviour despite concerns from friends, family or medical professionals?
so it's more nuanced than simply doing the thing everyday.
There are for some traits that have to be met:
- compulsive need to do it
- repeating the behaviour despite the negative consequences
- experiencing withdrawal if trying to quit
- behaviour extends over a certain amount of time
Idk if I wrote them all but it's something like that
You sound like someone on whom therapy might actually work. No offence.
Why? Not mocking or anything. I'm just curious of the thought process
Video games, junk food, chatting, tramadol, pregabalin
How's tramadol? I know it, but I haven't tried it
None really except maybe the gym.
That's fucking gr8 man. & what you do when you feel down af, besides hitting the gym?
self harm, as you might be able to tell by the username, and the internet.
How often do you sh?
Was addicted to porn and work, but now work is gone and the anti-depressant took away also the addiction to porn.
Glad to hear the last part
At this point, mainly just drugs. I relapse on sh from time to time, but I've been trying to stop.
In the past I've been addicted to cigarettes, video games, and pornography.
Congrats for stopping the last ones
